Dhamtari. Presiding over the meeting of the District Development and Monitoring Committee, MP Mahasamund Chunni Lal Sahu directed the departmental officers that the schemes should be run smoothly at the ground level as per the intention of the government.
The MP’s emphasis was on giving wide publicity to such schemes among the villagers and benefiting them from the schemes related to their interest.
Disha’s meeting was taken by MP Chunilal Sahu from 11.30 am on February 25 in the meeting room of the District Panchayat Office. In the meeting, the MP reviewed the progress of various schemes run by the Central Government.
During this, Zip CEO Priyanka Mahobia told that 6053 works were approved this year under the MNREGA scheme. For this administrative approval of 18464.54 lakh has been given.
In this, Rs 14764.96 lakh is fixed for wages and 3656.04 lakh for material. Out of total one lakh 57 thousand 331 job card holder families in the district, employment has been provided to one lakh 34 thousand 580 families.
Of these, there are two lakh 56818 workers. 25 lakh 55 thousand 399 man days were created by women. Giving information about the expenditure according to the approved wage budget in the financial year 2021-22, he said that against the annual target of 17496 lakhs, till February 2022, the target of 14726 lakhs was Rs.12994 lakhs, ie 88 percent achievement.
During this, the achievement of man-days created against the target of 55.56 lakh till February against the annual target of 67.38 lakh was 50 lakh i.e. 90 percent. In the current financial year Rs.12377.39 lakh was spent. Of these, Rs 10223.93 lakh was spent on wages and Rs 2153.46 lakh on materials.
8715 Self Help Groups Formed
Under the National Livelihood Mission, 8715 self-help groups have been formed in the four blocks. Under the Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Rurban Cluster, 433 works worth Rs 31 crore have been approved under the scheme in Rampur cluster taken up in the third phase. Of this, 689 lakhs are approved from convergence and 2411.48 lakhs from CGF. It was informed that out of 433, 223 works have been completed, 133 are in progress.
MP Sahu instructed to complete the above progressing, unstarted, works within the time-limit.
On this occasion, taking information about the progress of schemes run in the departments of PM Housing, PHE, Agriculture, Health, Education, Food, Khadi, Village Industries, etc., he gave necessary instructions to the officers. In the meeting, MLA Dhamtari Ranjana Sahu, MLA representative Kurud Gokaran Sahu, MLA representative Nagari Lakhan Lal Dhruv, district president city Dineshwari Netam, district president Kurud Sharda Sahu along with committee members, district level officers were present.
