Tata Altroz EV
Driven by the success of the Nexon EV, Tata Motors is definitely betting big on electric cars. The automaker has already introduced the updated Tigor EV which has also received good response from the buyers. According to the report, Tata Motors is preparing its next electric car in the form of Altroz EV. Which was showcased at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show. It is expected that this car will be launched by mid of 2022.
Mini Cooper SE
The news of the launch of the electric version of the British luxury car maker Mini Cooper, owned by MINI BMW in the Indian car market, is in the news these days. MINI is all set to launch its Cooper SE in India in 2022. The electric avatar of the Mini, already listed on the website, will be powered by a single electric motor coupled with a 32.6 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. Which will be able to cover a distance of up to 270 km on a single charge.
Volvo XC40 Recharge
Swedish auto maker Volvo introduced the XC40 Recharge compact pure electric SUV in India earlier this year. According to the information received, the automaker is planning to bring this car to India in the first quarter of 2022. The Volvo XC40 Recharge is paired with a 78 kWh battery pack, this electric powertrain producing 402 bhp of power and 660 Nm of torque. In terms of range, the Volvo XC40 Recharge is capable of delivering a range of up to 418 km on a single charge.
