Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Hyderabad on Thursday. PM Modi had reached a function organized on the completion of 20 years of Indian School of Business. Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was not in the state, but he had left for Bengaluru early in the morning to meet former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda. In this program, Prime Minister Modi also praised Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
PM Modi said in the program, “Professionals from the Indian School of Business are giving impetus to the business of the country. Handling the management of big companies. The students here have created hundreds of startups and have been instrumental in the creation of many unicorns. This is not only an achievement for the Indian School of Business, but also a matter of pride for the entire country.
PM Modi took a jibe at the Chief Minister of the state K Chandrashekhar Rao and termed him as superstitious. PM Modi said, “Superstist people cannot work for the development of the state. I believe in science and technology and I also congratulate UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who is a saint but does not believe in superstition. We have to save Telangana from such superstitious people.”
PM Narendra Modi also spoke about the achievements of his government. The PM said, “India ranks second in the world in the Global Retail Index. India has the third largest startup ecosystem in the world. At the same time, the world’s third largest consumer market is also in India. India is emerging as a major center of growth today. Last year, the highest ever recorded FDI came into India. Today the world is realizing that India means business.”
