The country’s presidential election is to be held on July 18. The names of many leaders are coming out in this race, whom BJP can put in the election for the post of President. One of these is the name of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
There has been speculation about his candidature for a long time. It is being said that BJP can make him its own Chief Minister in Bihar by giving him the post of President. However, there is no official response on this yet. Now regarding these speculations, a Nitish MP has said that if Nitish’s name comes up as an NDA candidate, then his party will accept this decision.
JDU MP Alok Kumar Suman said- “If NDA chooses CM Nitish Kumar for the post of President, we will like it. He is a visionary and has a lot of experience. He has been running the state for 20 years. He will take the country on the path of development. I think it would be good to bring him to this position.”
It is not that only Alok Kumar has said these things. Minister Shravan Kumar, close to Nitish Kumar, has also said that Nitish Kumar will be a suitable candidate for the post of President. However, party’s national president and MP Lalan Singh has dismissed these speculations and said that Nitish Kumar is not the presidential candidate. Lalan Singh said that this is just a rumour. Nitish Kumar is serving the people of Bihar. He will stay here.
Let us tell you that the term of the current President Ram Nath Kovind is ending next month. As per the schedule of the elections, nominations will be held on June 29, polling will be held on July 18 and results will be declared on July 21. In this election, NDA’s upper hand is currently looking heavy, but the opposition is also preparing to field its candidate in this election.
