Under this scheme, farmers are being given loans up to Rs 3 lakh without guarantee. Apart from this, short term loans of Rs 3 to 5 lakh are being made available at an interest rate of only 4 percent. The government is giving a subsidy of 2 percent on these loans. There is a discount of 3 percent on timely repayment of loan.
