BJP leader Tajinderpal Singh Bagga was arrested by the Punjab Police on Friday (6 May 2022) for making objectionable statements on Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and a case was registered against him in Patiala. The arrest of Bagga has increased the political turmoil in Delhi, Punjab and Haryana. Talking on this issue, Congress leader Acharya Pramod Krishnan said that thank you Kejriwal did not get Delhi Police, otherwise he would have locked up the Prime Minister and the Home Minister also.
With the arrest of Bharatiya Janata Party leader Tajinder Bagga, serious questions are being raised on the AAP government. BJP has termed Bagga’s arrest as politically motivated. Talking on this issue, during a TV debate, Congress leader Acharya Pramod Krishnan said that if a leader of an opposition party goes to another state, will he be arrested? He said that thank you Arvind Kejriwal does not have Delhi Police in his hands, otherwise he would have sued the Prime Minister, would have got the Home Minister locked up.
The federal structure will collapse: Acharya Pramod Krishnan said that there are two aspects behind Bagga’s arrest, one legal and one political. He said such incidents would break the federal structure. He said that in this way, if the Chief Minister of BJP goes to Punjab, then he will be booked, while if Kejriwal goes to the BJP ruled states, then the inspectors will register a case against him and bring him inside.
Monkey’s Hand Razor: He said that the act of the governments does not look like the government. The Punjab Police came like this and arrested the BJP leader like a terrorist and Delhi Police also registered a case in a hurry. Taking a jibe at CM Kejriwal, Acharya Krishnan said that it seems like a razor has come in the hands of a monkey. He will bite anyone’s nose and ears and he himself will be bled.

An FIR was registered at Janakpuri police station on the complaint of Preet Pal Singh Bagga, father of Tajinder Bagga, demanding immediate action on the incidents preceding his son’s arrest.
