The controversy over the film ‘The Kashmir Files’ on the exodus and genocide of Kashmiri Pandits does not seem to stop. Amidst the ongoing politics regarding this film, Maulvi Farooq of Jama Masjid in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir has made provocative statements demanding a ban on ‘The Kashmir Files’.
Maulana Farooq said that the film has a conspiracy against Muslims. Maulana also targeted the central government and said that an attempt is being made to build a wall through this film. Maulana said that through the film an attempt is being made to do politics by fighting Hindu-Muslims.
Maulvi Farooq said that today a film has been made to divide the society. He said that hundreds of Kashmiri Muslims were killed but there is no mention of them. The sorrow and pain of Kashmiri Muslims has been forgotten. The Maulvi of Jamia Masjid said, “We are a peaceful people, we have ruled this country for 800 years, these people have ruled for 70 years, but it is not possible to erase our identity. You will perish but we will not perish.”
No one is understanding the pain of Kashmiri Muslims – Maulvi
Quoting ‘The Kashmir Files’, the cleric said that after 32 years the blood of Kashmiri Pandits was seen but no one is understanding the pain of Kashmiri Muslims. Maulvi Farooq, while addressing the people inside the mosque, said, “In 32 years so many Muslims were killed, women became widows, their houses were destroyed but they did not see the blood of those Kashmiri Muslims because it was the blood of those who read Kalma. Was.”
Amidst controversies, Vivek Agnihotri’s film ‘The Kashmir Files’ has crossed the 200 crore mark in terms of earnings. The film has performed well at the box office for almost two weeks.
