In the assembly elections held in five states, the Bharatiya Janata Party has made a stellar performance in the direction of forming the government in four states. Aam Aadmi Party’s tsunami was visible in Punjab, apart from this, BJP has performed strongly in UP, Uttarakhand, Goa and Manipur. PM Modi (Prashant Kishor) said after the party’s victory in the elections in four states, “I agree that political experts will now say that the results of 2022 have decided the results of 2024.” Responding to this statement, election strategist Prashant Kishor said that what the Prime Minister has said is his clever attempt.
Prashant Kishor tweeted, “The fight for the country will be fought in 2024 and only then will the results come, not in any state. Sir you know! Therefore, through these results, psychologists are trying to create a psychological impression against the opposition. Don’t fall into this false story.”
Prashant Kishor has been trying to play the role of a facilitator to bring the opposition on a single platform for the great 2024 season. In recent times, Prashant Kishor has emerged as a favorite for the opposition, working with leaders like Mamata Banerjee and MK Stalin.
In fact, after the BJP’s victory, PM Modi had said, “I will also say today that after the 2019 Lok Sabha election results, some political experts had said that the 2017 results decided the 2019 results. I believe this time also he will say that the results of 2022 have decided the results of 2024.
Actually, the results of assembly elections in five states have been declared. In Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Manipur, the BJP crossed the majority mark, while in Goa, the BJP won 20 seats and emerged as the single largest party. Party’s state president Sadanand Shed Tanawade claimed that there is support of three independent MLAs. In this way the BJP can stake claim to form the government in Goa.
