Triumph has launched its premium adventure sport bike in the Indian market. Triumph Tiger Sport 660 price starts at Rs. 8.95 Lakh (Ex-showroom). The bike is based on the Trident 660 Naked Roadster, which makes it Rs 1.50 lakh more expensive.
With this bike, Triumph forays into the premium adventure electric segment. Its design can attract with triple engine performance, technology and premium segment. Triumph had already informed that the Tiger Sport 660 was not made for rough terrain and is road-biased like the Kawasaki Versys 650. This motorcycle runs on the same 17-inch wheels and Michelin as the 5 tire Trident 660 on the road.
Features
The instrument cluster can be connected to the Triumph connectivity module and then paired with your phone, helmet communication device and a GoPro action camera. For added safety, it gets a switchable traction control system. It has two riding modes Road and Rain. The Tiger Sport 660 gets the same instrumentation as the Trident.
Specification
The 660 engine churns out the same 81PS and 64Nm of torque on the same output curves as the Trident. According to Triumph, over 50Nm of torque is available for as little as 3,600rpm. The Tiger Sport 660 sports a lower power-to-weight ratio and a bigger 17.2-litre tank.
Booking & Delivery
The Tiger Sport 660 was launched a few weeks back by the company for the new model at a token amount of Rs 50,000. The deliveries are expected to start soon after the launch. It is available in three color options, Lucerne Blue and Sapphire Black, Korosi Red and Graphite, and a minimalist Graphite.
