International Flights Resumed: After two years, India will resume regular international flight operations from March 27. The Central Government gave this information in an order. After recognizing the increase in vaccination coverage across the world and in consultation with stakeholders, it has been decided to introduce scheduled commercial international passenger services.
The Ministry of Civil Aviation said that international operations would be subject to strict adherence to the Health Ministry’s guidelines for travel. Let us tell you that on 28 February, the DGCA extended the ban on regular commercial international passenger flights till further orders.

India has been operating flights under the air bubble regime since last year. The Aviation Ministry had last year announced the resumption of regular international flights from 15 November 2021. But Omicron has canceled that order due to the escalation in the case. International flights were suspended for the first time in March 2022 after a nationwide lockdown was imposed to deal with the first wave of the coronavirus pandemic.
