Anjali Singh Rajput/Lucknow: Spinner M Siddharth, playing in the IPL for Lucknow Super Giants, has made a lot of headlines by taking the first wicket of Virat Kohli in his debut season. Lucknow Super Giants captain KL Rahul made Siddharth bowl the first over of the match. This 25 year old bowler impressed a lot in his very first over. He kept the strong batsmen like Kohli and Duplessis tied with his left arm spin bowling.
Before this match, Siddharth had made a promise to the team’s head coach Justin Langer, which he fulfilled. The dream and ideal of this young player who is constantly in the news is actually that of an Indian player. Siddharth told that since he was 7 years old, he used to watch his father playing cricket. Father was very interested in cricket. Siddharth was born in Chennai and his interest in playing cricket kept increasing. Now I am a part of Lucknow Super Giants team and my aim is to make the team win.
