Jerusalem: Israel will also give a historic response to Iran’s attack. Israel is preparing to give such a response to the attack by Iran that generations will remember. Just last week, Iran had launched a deadly attack on Israel with more than 300 missiles and drones. It is a different matter that Israel had shot down 99 percent of those missiles and drones in the air before they could cause any damage. But despite this, Israel is now preparing to take terrible revenge from Iran. Such a revenge which can create an uproar in Iran. British Foreign Minister David Cameron also said on Wednesday that Israel can take revenge from Iran for the attack.
The British minister said Israel is “taking a decision to take action” in response to a missile and drone attack by Iran over the weekend. Meanwhile, Iran warned that even a small attack on its territory would be given a harsh response. Israel has pledged to respond to Iran’s unprecedented attack, but has said nothing about when or how action will be taken. After months of unrest due to the ongoing war in Gaza, the new developments have raised fears of more unrest in the region. Israel’s closest allies, America and Britain, which helped thwart Iran’s attack, are trying to prevent the situation from getting worse.
Iran’s President said that he will retaliate again
Amid fears of a retaliatory attack by Israel, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, while addressing the annual military parade, warned Israel against any retaliatory action. Probably due to fear of Israeli retaliation, this military parade was not televised. Iran’s official Irna news agency quoted Raisi as saying that Saturday’s attack was a limited attack, and that if Iran wanted to launch a larger attack, Israel would have nothing left.
Cameron and German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock are both in Israel on Wednesday to meet top officials. Britain and Germany, Israel’s closest allies, have urged restraint. Cameron said it was clear Israel was deciding to take action against Iran, but he hoped it would do so in a way that was both strong and without escalating conflict. (AP)
