Israel PM Naftali Bennett’s visit to India has been postponed. He was found corona infected on Monday and since then questions were being raised about his travel to India. Now on Tuesday, information was given by Israel to postpone the PM’s visit to India. Naftali Bennett was to visit India on 2 April. He had informed that he would go to India on the invitation of his friend PM Narendra Modi.
This would be his first visit to India after becoming the PM of Israel. It has been informed by the Israeli government that after being found corona infected, Bennett has isolated himself and is working from home. This year marks 30 years of diplomatic relations between India and Israel. He was about to come to India on this occasion. Here Bennett was scheduled to meet PM Narendra Modi and many other senior ministers.
Not only this, Bennett also had a program of meeting with the people of Jewish communities living in India. Giving information about his visit, Bennett said that we can learn a lot from Indians. Bennett said that with India we can cooperate in areas like innovation and technology, cyber security, agriculture and climate change. Bennett said that the relationship between Indian and Jewish culture is very old. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Naftali Bennett had earlier met in October last year during the Climate Change Conference, which was held in Glasgow.
