India now topped the medal tally with a total of three medals with two gold and one silver.
The Indian trio scored 574 in the qualification round 2 to reach the final. The trio of Indian players Isha, Niveta and Ruchita also topped the qualification round 1 with a score of 856.
Earlier, the trio of Olympians Saurabh Chaudhary, Gaurav Rana and Kedarling Balakrishna missed out on a bronze medal in the men’s 10m air pistol team event. The Indian team finished fourth with a score of six.
The team of Shreya Aggarwal, Ayushi Gupta and Rajshree Sancheti finished seventh in the Qualification Round 2 in the team event of Women’s 10m Air Rifle and could not progress further.
