Earlier its name was Nehru Museum, which has now been converted into Prime Minister’s Museum. PM Modi said, ‘The country has got the Prime Minister’s Museum. It is open to the common citizens of the country. It is a matter of pride that we are remembering the contribution of our former Prime Ministers. It is working to connect the youth of the country. PM Modi said, ‘People are donating many things in the museum and are contributing to the cultural heritage of India.’
He said that people are contributing towards the museums. The work of digitizing museums has increased rapidly during the Corona period. You all must visit these museums with your friends in the coming holidays. PM Narendra Modi inaugurated the museum this month. Not only this, he had also bought its first ticket. The PMO had said about this museum that it is the place of remembrance of all the former Prime Ministers of the country. The PMO said that according to the instructions of PM Narendra Modi, the contribution of all the Prime Ministers made since independence till now has been depicted in it. The special thing is that apart from ideology, the contribution of Prime Ministers has been talked about in this.
PM Modi also gave message of water conservation and digital payment
During this, PM Narendra Modi also emphasized on water conservation. He said that water is a basic need for any creation in the world. It is the most important natural resource. He said that even in Valmiki Ramayana, there has been talk of water harvesting. The PM said that even during the Harappan civilization, a lot of advance technology was used for water conservation. During this, PM Modi appealed to the people to adopt the options of cashless payment. He said that people should make efforts like ‘cashless day out’. He said that today people in villages and even small towns are using UPI. It is a better option for both the customers and the shopkeepers. He said that online payments have created digital economy. Every day, online transactions worth Rs 20,000 crore are taking place in the country.
