New Delhi. Srinagar Mayor Junaid Azim Mattoo often remains in the headlines for one reason or the other. In this sequence, Junaid Azim Mattu is now embroiled in controversies after praising the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb. In fact, on the previous day, former Maharashtra Chief Minister and BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis, while addressing a program, slammed AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Aurangzeb’s love. Along with this, he had also fiercely targeted the Mahavikas Aghadi government. He said that, at Aurangzeb’s tomb, he goes to Asuddin Owaisi and bows his head and you keep looking, you should be ashamed for this, die drowning in full water. Further he says that listen Owaisi, even the dog will not urinate on the identity of Aurangzeb because we will wave saffron all over India.
Now on this statement of Devendra Fadnavis, Srinagar Mayor Junaid Azim Mattoo responded. Junaid Azim shared Fadnavis’s video praising Aurangzeb and wrote, “Hafiz-e-Quran, Shahenshah Hazrat Muhi-ud-Din Muhammad Aurangzeb and his tomb be blessed with mercy and blessings of Allah.” But his Aurangzeb love of people on social media did not like at all.

After this tweet, Junaid Azim Mattoo came under the target of people on social media. People slammed Junaid Azim Mattoo for praising Aurangzeb. One user wrote, “Do you think that if you spit on the moon, it will reach the moon. Never, in the same way your cheap hate politics will never inspire the educated youth of my country. The same formula of hate-based and religion-based politics has gone. My young generation is looking for a progressive nation.”
Another user took a jibe at Junaid Azim Mattoo and wrote, “So much love for Aurangzeb, I hope the Indian government is watching all this.
