Union Minister of State for Agriculture Kailash Choudhary on Friday flagged off a new train ‘Delhi – Barmer Express (20488)’, which will depart for Barmer from Old Delhi Railway Station for the first time on Friday. Union Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Kailash Choudhary will flag off the new train service between Barmer to Delhi and Delhi to Barmer at 3:40 pm on Friday after getting approval from the Ministry of Railways. The ‘Delhi – Barmer Express (20488)’ train leaving for Barmer from Old Delhi Railway Station for the first time will leave Delhi via Rewari, Jaipur, Phulera and Jodhpur and will reach Barmer Railway Station at 06.40 am on Saturday.
“I am confident that this new train service will prove to be a new milestone in the direction of convenience for the commuters traveling between Delhi and Barmer via Jaipur,” Union Minister of State for Agriculture Kailash Choudhary told -AnyTV News.
He said, “I welcome PM Modi and the Ministry of Railways on behalf of all the people of the region for this gift given to my parliamentary constituency Barmer.”
Kailash Choudhary said that for the convenience of the people of Barmer region of Rajasthan, first civil airport at Uttarlai has also got permission from the Defense Ministry and its construction work has started. After this, this is the second major achievement by the Prime Minister for the parliamentary constituency.
