New Delhi. After conquering the political fort of Karnataka, the period of infighting in Congress is taking the name of ending. Mathapachi is only about this matter as to who should be handed over the command of the state. Only two names are involved in the race, first DK Shivakumar and second Siddaramaiah. Some say that DK should be made the CM, while some say that Siddaramaiah. Only time will tell who will become the CM now, but before that a meeting of the Legislature Party was called today, in which all the senior leaders of the Congress participated.
Meanwhile, a resolution was passed in the meeting, in which it was decided that none other than Kharge would put an end to the ongoing tussle over the post of CM. Now in simple words, the responsibility of taking the final decision on who should be made the next CM of the state was given to Kharge. Now it will be interesting to see whose name Kharge, who is called Chanakya of Karnataka politics, stamps in the coming days.
On the other hand, talking about the election results of Karnataka, out of 224 assembly seats in the state, Congress has won 136, BJP 65 and JDS 19 seats. In this way, the Congress has become active in the direction of forming the government by securing a clear majority, but the tug-of-war is still going on for the post of CM. Keep in mind that in the past, the party had to face a similar situation in Himachal Pradesh as well. However, now what steps does the party take in the light of ongoing political upheaval in Karnataka. Everyone’s eyes will be fixed on this.
