Naveen Jindal in BJP Candidate list: The country’s renowned industrialist Naveen Jindal left Congress on Sunday itself and joined BJP immediately thereafter. Immediately after this, BJP declared him as its candidate from Kurukshetra, Haryana. Naveen Jindal is the chairman of Jindal Steel and Power. Similarly, BJP has also given ticket to Ranjit Singh Chautala, son of former Deputy Prime Minister Devi Lal. Ticket has been given from Hisar seat of Chautala. In this way, BJP has now finalized the names of all its 10 candidates in Haryana.
Haryana ticket distribution completed in fifth list
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday released its fifth list of candidates for the Lok Sabha elections, which also includes the names of candidates from four seats in Haryana. BJP has given tickets to industrialists Naveen Jindal and Ranjit Singh Chautala, who joined the party on Sunday itself. With this the party announced its candidates for all the 10 Lok Sabha seats of Haryana. According to the latest list of BJP candidates, Naveen Jindal has been fielded from Kurukshetra, Ranjit Chautala from Hisar, Mohan Lal Badoli from Sonipat and Arvind Kumar Sharma from Rohtak. Industrialist and former Congress MP Jindal and independent MLA from Haryana Ranjit Chautala joined BJP on Sunday itself. Jindal represented Kurukshetra in the Lok Sabha as a Congress MP from 2004 to 2014.
78 year old Ranjit Singh Chautala
78 year old Ranjit Singh Chautala joined BJP in a program organized in Sirsa, Haryana. He is a minister in the BJP-led Haryana government. He is the son of former Deputy Prime Minister Devi Lal and brother of Indian National Lok Dal chief and former Haryana Chief Minister Om Prakash Chautala. Brijendra Singh, who was the BJP MP from Hisar in the outgoing Lok Sabha, had recently resigned from the primary membership of the party and the Lok Sabha and joined the Congress. Out of the 10 parliamentary seats in Haryana, the sitting MPs of Sonipat, Karnal and Sirsa seats have not been given tickets again.
