India ‘A’ regular player Abhimanyu Easwaran scored an unbeaten 200 to put Bengal in a strong position in the match against Bihar at Eden Gardens. Easwaran hit 23 fours in his unbeaten innings of 200 runs (291 balls) due to which Bengal declared the first innings at 411 runs for five wickets and with this they took a lead of 316 runs on the basis of first innings. This was the third first-class double century for Easwaran and the first since his career-best 233 for India A against Sri Lanka in 2019. During this period he also got the blessing of life twice.
