Five employees died in an explosion at a pharmaceutical company in Sangareddy district of Telangana on Wednesday. The incident took place at SB Organics Limited in Chandapur village of Hatnura mandal of the district. The factory caught fire after an explosion in the chemical reactor. Due to the impact of the explosion, a structure of the industrial complex also collapsed. It is being told that the company manager is also among those who died. All four deceased laborers are said to be from Bihar.
The death toll is expected to increase. There are reports of 10 people injured in the explosion. Everyone has been taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Several fire tenders reached the spot and efforts are being made to extinguish the fire. Sangareddy Superintendent of Police Rupesh and other officials visited the spot. CM A. Revanth Reddy expressed grief over the accident at the chemical plant. The CM has ordered the officials of the Fire Brigade Department to immediately speed up the rescue work and control the fire and monitor the rescue and relief operations. The CM has also asked the District Collector and SP to ensure the best possible treatment for the injured.

7 died in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar
On the other hand, seven people including two children died of suffocation due to a fire in a tailor shop in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar city of Maharashtra early on Wednesday. The official said that the fire broke out in the shop located at Dana Bazaar in the cantonment area at around 4 am. The tailor shop was located on the ground floor of a building along with other commercial establishments while people lived on the upper floors. Police Commissioner Manoj Lohia told reporters, “A sudden fire broke out in the shop at around 4 am.” Police got information about the incident at 4.15 in the morning. After the fire, the smoke reached the first floor, where a family lived above the shop. Seven people died due to suffocation.
