With reference to Tejinder Singh Pal, the Court further observed that ‘the accused (Bagga) was forcibly released from the Punjab Police illegally. The DSP of Punjab Police went to the Janakpuri police station to inform the Delhi Police about the arrest, but the Delhi Police did not make any diary entry. However, now the hearing on this entire issue will be held on May 23.

Angered by which a complaint was lodged against Bagga by the spokesperson of Punjab Aam Aadmi Party, after taking cognizance of which he was arrested on Friday.
According to the Punjab Police, notices were issued to him on several occasions, but he did not react to these notices, keeping in mind that action was taken to arrest him.
