Badaun. A controversy like the Gyanvapi Masjid of Varanasi has now arisen in Badaun, UP. The All India Hindu Mahasabha has claimed about this mosque that it was built by demolishing the Neelkanth Mahadev temple. A suit has been filed in the court in this matter. At the same time, the Intejamiya Committee of the mosque is calling this claim wrong. After the filing of the suit in the court, the administration and police of Badaun are also on alert. Due to this, elaborate security arrangements have been made. The case was filed by the Hindu Mahasabha on September 2 in the court of Civil Judge Senior Division, Badaun. The court had sent notice to 6 including Masjid Intejamia Committee and sought their response.
In the case filed in the court, the plaintiff has filed history, gazette, map etc. written in all government books. At the same time, the Intejamia Committee is calling it wrong by citing the Worship Act of 1991 and other laws. The plaintiff wants that the court should take cognizance of the same in Jama Masjid as Gyanvapi. Let us tell you that the District Judge of Varanasi has told the petition of the Hindu side seeking worship of Hindu deities in the Gyanvapi Mosque in the past. Earlier, the Civil Judge Senior Division of Varanasi had conducted the survey of Gyanvapi Masjid. In this survey, it was said that all Hindu symbols, idols and figures like Shivling were found in Gyanvapi Mosque.
Now there is a dispute over three religious places in UP. Among them there is also the issue of Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi in Mathura. There, next to the Janmabhoomi temple, the case of removing the Shahi Idgah Mosque built in the time of Aurangzeb is going on in the court. Apart from this, a case has also been filed in the Allahabad High Court in the matter of Mathura’s mosque.
