50 trains were canceled
Brihanmumbai Electricity Supply and Transport (BEST) has informed that the interrupted power supply has been rectified at 10:53 am. At present, the Traction, Signaling and Control application has been restored to normal on the MMCT. Ravindra Bhakar, CPRO of Western Railway said that The suburban section between Churchgate and Andheri was affected due to power outage for an hour in the morning and around 50 trains were canceled while 144 trains were delayed.
