Amidst the ongoing standoff in Ladakh, India has appointed a new ambassador to China. Now Pradeep Kumar Rawat will be the new Ambassador of India there. He has reached Beijing on Friday. According to the information received from the embassy, Pradeep Kumar Rawat is in the mandatory COVID Quarantine in Beijing.
Earlier, India’s ambassador to China was Vikram Misri. Rawat has now been posted in his place. Prior to this he was serving as the Indian Ambassador to the Netherlands.
