But this time IPL is special for Chhattisgarh in many ways. Actually, in this IPL, three players from Chhattisgarh, Shashank Singh, Harpreet Singh Bhatia and Ajay Mandal, will try their talent. The future of cricket in Chhattisgarh is bright and this can be gauged from the fact that players from Chhattisgarh have also been selected for the IPL.
State association is providing facilities to players
Chhattisgarh State Cricket Association President Zubin Shah told Local 18 that Ajay Mandal, Shashank Singh and Harpreet Singh Bhatia, these three players play their domestic cricket in Chhattisgarh State Cricket Association i.e. CSCS. He told that the State Association is continuously providing good facilities to the players and the players are also making full use of all these facilities and raising the level of their cricket. Under the guidance of BCCI, the association has been continuously organizing big events like Ranji Match, Vijay Hazare Trophy, Syed Mustaq Ali Trophy and the Chhattisgarh team is performing well in these.
Harpreet Singh Bhatia
Harpreet Singh Bhatia is a left handed batsman. His last season was very good and he took advantage of whatever opportunities he got. In the match against Mumbai, he made a big partnership of 92 runs with Sam Curran and scored 41 runs in 28 balls. He also has a unique record in his name, there is a gap of 10 years between two IPL matches.
Shashank Singh
Shashank Singh is an all-rounder right-handed batsman and medium fast bowler. Has been a part of Delhi Capitals, Rajasthan Royals 2022 Sunrisers Hyderabad, Punjab Kings team in IPL. In IPL 2023, Shashank Singh surprised everyone by playing explosive innings in the last season. Playing for Sunrisers, Lockie Ferguson hit three sixes in the last over and scored 25 runs in 6 balls.
