New Delhi. Recently a film was released on OTT named Tenth. Many of you must have seen this film. In this film, Abhishek Bachchan, son of Bollywood’s emperor Amitabh Bachchan, was seen. The film was about a jailed politician who takes exams to pass 10th standard. Along with reel life, now a leader in real life is giving the 10th exam. In fact, Biju Janata Dal (BJD) MLA Angada Kanhar is one of the 5.8 lakh students who appeared for the Class X examinations of the Odisha Education Board that began on Friday amid tight security. Phulbani MLA Angada Kanhar (56) gave her exam at Rujangi High School in Pitabari village in Kandhamal district of the state.
Panchayat members and driver encouraged
While interacting with the media, Angada Kanhar said, ‘Some members of the panchayat and my driver encouraged me to appear for the exam. I don’t know whether I will be able to pass the exam or not. But, I have given my exam to get 10th class certificate.
Left studies in the year 1978
A close aide of the MLA says that Kanhar had dropped out of studies in 1978 itself and had appeared for class VIII examination after becoming a member of the Assembly in 2019. Kanhar’s examination center superintendent Archana Basa said that no special treatment was done to the MLA. He took the exam like all the students. Basa said, “He (MLA) took the exam along with other students. Like other students, they were also thoroughly screened before being allowed to appear in the exam.
