Due to the lack of water in the forest, wildlife is wandering here and there to quench their thirst. In Namana Panchayat of Rajsamand district of Rajasthan, a thirsty female leopard was wandering from village to village to quench thirst, she got upset due to lack of water and started attacking the villagers. About eight people were injured in this. In the end the villagers thrashed them to death with sticks.
According to forest department officials, the age of this female leopard was two years. On information, the forest personnel who reached the spot took the dead body in their possession and examined it, then injury marks were found on its body. Teeth and nails intact. It is being told that the female leopard left the forest in search of water and wandered in four villages. During this, she became violent when she confronted people.

This female leopard first attacked and injured Manju Gameti (32), a resident of Manpura and her one-year-old son Vikram Gameti in Namana Panchayat. After this, five-year-old Payal, Kasturi (45) and three-year-old Rahul were attacked and injured in Amloi. Bhima (56) was also attacked in Fatehnagar’s Kheda. In Banka Ka Gudha, this leopard attacked and injured two elderly Shankarlal Gurjar and Jaichand Gurjar.
ACF Vinod Rai of the Forest Department said that legal action would be taken against those who killed the leopard. Leopard’s carcass was found in Banka ka Gudha. However, no eyewitness of the attack on the leopard has come to the fore so far.
