As soon as the Lok Sabha proceedings began on Thursday, MPs from several parties including Congress, Trinamool Congress and DMK tried to raise the issue of the ever-increasing prices of petrol, diesel and LPG. During the Question Hour itself, the MPs of the opposition parties came to the well and raised slogans, waving poster-banners about the ever-increasing price of petroleum products and the problems caused by it to the common people.
Meanwhile, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla appealed to him several times to allow the Question Hour to continue. The Speaker of Lok Sabha has even said that your leaders have been allowed to speak four times on the issue on which you are creating a ruckus.
Meanwhile, TRS MPs were also seen creating ruckus and sloganeering in the Well demanding justice to the Dalits. In the midst of the uproar, the Speaker of the Lok Sabha continued to run the Question Hour.
After this, on the issue of inflation, MPs of opposition parties including Congress, DMK, Left, TMC, NC, NCP staged a walkout from the Lok Sabha. Earlier, TRS MPs also staged a walkout from the Lok Sabha on the issue of Dalits.
