Under the Ankur Abhiyan, two thousand different species have been planted so far under the plantation program started in the district from March 1. The plantation program will continue till March 5. In the program of plantation, cooperation of various departments as well as social workers and public representatives is also being taken.
During this, 1000 saplings of different species were planted by the Panchayat and Rural Development Department. While 1 thousand saplings have been planted in the district by the Forest Department. On March 3, programs for planting saplings will be organized through the urban bodies of the district.

On Wednesday, a plantation program was organized at Datia Stadium under the joint aegis of Sports and Youth Welfare Department and Navankur Sanstha Late Manoj Rawat Sports Academy. In which Kamlesh Bhargava, Chief Executive Officer of Additional Collector, District Panchayat, planted saplings as the chief guest. On this occasion, he said that all the players should plant a sapling and preserve it and grow it. On this occasion, District Sports and Youth Welfare Officer Arvind Singh Rana, Sanjay Rawat, sports coach Rajendra Tiwari, players Sunil Raikwar, Prashant Sahu etc. were present.
