Jagdalpur. MLA Jagdalpur and Parliamentary Secretary Rekhchand Jain reached the historic Shankar temple located in Dalpat Sagar and Lord Jhadeshwar Shiva temple in Deora located on the Odisha border and offered prayers to Lord Shiva by law and wished for the well being and prosperity of Chhattisgarh and Bastar. Jains reached the life of the newly built Radhakrishna temple on Geedam Road in the city, offered prayers by law and participated in the Havan-worship.
MLA Jain said that the worship of Devadhidev Mahadev is going on in Bastar region since ancient times. The idol of Lord Shiva has also been found in many places in the archaeological excavation of Bastar. On this occasion, Chairman of Municipal Corporation Kavita Sahu, Councilor Vikram Singh Dangi, Kamlesh Pathak, Balram Yadav, Dayaram Kashyap,

By worshiping Shiva, the MLA sought prosperity in the area
Bastar MLA Lakheshwar Baghel reached the village panchayat Kudalgaon and prayed for the happiness and prosperity of all the people of Bastar assembly constituency by offering prayers at the Shiva temple situated on the banks of Lord Indravati river.
Bastar MLA said that the festival of Mahashivratri is celebrated with reverence and devotion throughout Bastar and met the villagers and workers and solved their problems.
He became aware and said that in the coming session, he talked about providing facilities for the devotees at this holy place. Bastar MLA said that Trinetradhari, Ashutosh, Lord of Gods, Mahadev Lord Shankar, on Mahashivratri, should give desired results to all of you.
Police did Bhandara in Naxalite on Mahashivratri
On the occasion of Mahashivratri, in Chintalnar of Konta block, which is called Naxalgarh, the police offered prayers in the temple premises in the morning, connecting people with devotion. Police station in-charge Rakesh Yadav organized a Mahabhandara for the surrounding villagers. Hundreds of villagers from susceptible Naxal affected villages took the Prasad of Bhandara.
