On Sunday, in Utkal Udyan of Model Town Ward-3, 114 beneficiaries of Junwani, Khamaria, Model Town, Nehru Nagar, Kosa Nagar, Krishna Nagar, Indira Nagar and Laxmi Nagar were given peacock land under the Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme. Building permit certificate granted.

In-charge Executive Engineer Vinita Verma, who is looking after the work of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, said that under the grant 1.5 lakh central funds, 0.79 lakh state funds and 0.86 lakh beneficiary contributions, in this way a total estimate of 3.15 lakh houses is ready for construction.
Generally, 45 percent of the center, 25 percent of the state and 30 percent of the beneficiary are required for the construction of the house, with whose money the house is constructed. The grant amount is given to the beneficiary in the form of first installment at foundation level, second installment at balcony level, third installment at casting level and fourth and last installment on completion of house to start house construction.
A different smile was visible on the faces of the people who were looking for the way to build the house. At the same time, an 80-year-old elderly woman got the building permission from her family very enthusiastically.
