New Delhi: The Modi government at the Center has started PM Awas Yojna with the intention of providing houses to the poor and middle class people. Under this scheme, the work of providing houses to the needy people is going on in almost all the states and union territories of the country. Under PM Awas Yojna, subsidies are provided to the poor and middle-income groups and in this sequence, the Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh has also set a target of constructing one lakh new houses. According to the information received, the target of giving subsidy on houses has started.
Talking about the next 100 days, the Central Government is going to get 1 lakh houses and about 8200 houses under the Chief Minister’s Housing Scheme. For this, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya has started work by preparing a plan of work in Uttar Pradesh. For this, the government has also started working on subsidy distribution by registering the beneficiaries. Let us tell you that the government gives interest on the rate of home loan to buy this subsidy. The maximum limit for this has been raised to Rs 2.67 lakh.
The thing to note here is that earlier home loan was available only from 3 lakh to 6 lakh. Now it has been increased to Rs 18 lakh. Lakhs of people have taken benefit of this housing scheme. After this change in the rules of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, now many more people will be benefitted.
