In this regard, an order has been issued to Headquarter Jail and Correctional Services and Director General Sanjay Pillay Samasta Jail Superintendent, in which it is mentioned, in view of the infection of Corona virus COVID-19, the meeting given to the prisoners with their families was banned till further orders. . At present, in view of the convenience of the prisoners due to less infection of the corona virus, it is allowed to start meeting with the prisoners and their families till further orders on February 21.
He said that according to the rules, for the next three months, the prisoners would be given a maximum meeting of ten minutes with their families. If the circumstances become normal, it will be considered to increase the meeting time as per the rules, the maximum number of relatives meeting the prisoners will be only two, the relatives meeting the prisoners will use masks, sanitizers and will follow social distance among themselves. . The officers will also follow the COVID rules.
