Actually, Sonu Sood’s sister Malvika Sood is the Congress candidate from Moga assembly seat. Police say that Sonu Sood forcibly tried to enter a booth here, after which the police stopped him, made him sit in a government vehicle and imprisoned him in the house. Police say that strict action will be taken against Sonu Sood if he comes out of the house till the voting continues.
At the same time, Sonu Sood has alleged that during the voting in Moga assembly seat, there was rigging. He went there to stop her. According to Sonu Sood, we came to know about the threat calls by the opposition, especially from the Akali Dal, at various booths. Money was being distributed at some booths. So it was our duty to investigate and ensure fair elections. So I and some family members went there. Now we are at home. There should be fair voting.
