Bangalore. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will visit Karnataka on Thursday to attend a religious program in Tumakuru and interact with party leaders.
State party president D.K. Shivakumar, Rahul Gandhi will participate in the 115th birth anniversary celebrations of Late Dr. Shivakumar Swamiji, a Lingayat saint of Siddaganga Math in Tumkur.
After the program, he will attend a meeting of Congress leaders of Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) jurisdiction. Apart from this, he will also hold a Zoom meeting with MLAs, former MLAs and defeated candidates.
In order to speed up the membership drive, senior leaders will also meet and interact with the party’s achievers. Shivakumar said that Muslim traders should not be troubled in religious fairs.
