The success achieved by the government in connecting the farmers back to agriculture is the result of these schemes.
Important place has been given in the budget to promote local development activities through public representatives. The amount given under MLA Fund, District Panchayat Development Fund, Janpad Panchayat Development Fund has been increased. The increase in the honorarium of the officials of District Panchayat, Janpad Panchayat and Gram Panchayat will infuse enthusiasm among them. Provisions were also made to increase the allowance of Sarpanch and Panch, the basic unit of democracy.

Along with this, the Gram Panchayats have been made more self-reliant and empowered by giving them the right to operate sand mines in the notified areas. The Chief Minister has presented a balanced budget. Along with meeting the expectations of the people, financial economy has also been taken care of. The budget has the potential to change the economic scenario of the state. The people of the state will get ample opportunities for progress from the budget. Through this budget, Garhbo Nava Chhattisgarh has been brought under the protection of justice.
