Jhabua (Representative of New Zealand). Under the aegis of Nehru Yuva Kendra Jhabua under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, a district level sports competition was organized on Saturday at PG College Ground, Jhabua. Its guests were Saloni Jain, Dr. Preeti Tripathi, Sheetal Solanki, Manoj Solanki and Vijay Kumar Salaam. In the competition, participants participated in block level kabaddi, rope pulling, kho-kho and 200 and 400 meter running competition.
In Kabaddi, team of Ranapur development block stood first and team of Rama stood second. Jhabua’s team stood first and Thandla second in Kho-Kho and rope pulling. Radhika Megda of Meghnagar stood first and Sonali Kanesh of Jhabua stood second in the 200m race for girls. Sonali Kanesh of Jhabua won the 400 meters race by securing first position. Laxmi Me.da of Meghnagar secured the second position.
Similarly, Sanjay Bhabor of Meghnagar got first and Nilesh Singar of Jhabua got second position in 400 meters race of boys category. Kunjesh Tomar of Jhabua district stood first and Munesh Ninama stood second in the boys’ 200m race. The winners of the competition were felicitated by Saloni Jain with medals, trophies and certificates. Sports Department, Municipality, Health Department and Tribal Development Department had special cooperation in the successful organization of the competition. In the end the vote of thanks was given by District Youth Officer Preeti.
Devjiri Dham will be made beautiful and clean
Jhabua (Representative of New Zealand). Devjiri Dham, the center of public’s faith, will now be made beautiful and clean. Collector Somesh Mishra inspected the site and discussed with the officials of the Public Works Department to make the site beautiful. Encroachment will be removed to make the place clean and beautiful. There a herbal garden will be prepared along with a rose garden. And arrangements will also be made there. During this, many officers including Public Works Department’s Executive Engineer Vijay Singh Panwar, Tehsildar Ashish Rathore, DK Shukla were present.
