New Delhi. How would you feel if we told you that 10 tola of gold was recovered from a mouse. It is a simple matter, you will think that brother are you joking?… If you are finding this thing funny then you are absolutely wrong. Yes, this case is from Mumbai. Where the police have recovered 10 tola of gold from a drain. The value of this recovered gold is Rs 5 lakh. Police have recovered this gold on the basis of CCTV footage. When the police investigated on the basis of CCTV footage, the rat was seen carrying a bag full of jewellery. Later, the police recovered the bag and returned it to the owner of the jewellery.
Let me tell you, this shocking case came to the fore when a woman named Sundari, living in Aarey Colony area, in the limits of Dindoshi police station, bought 10 tolas of gold ornaments kept in the house to repay the loan taken for the marriage of her daughter. Was going to mortgage the bank. Then on the way, Sundari saw a beggar woman and her children. Sundari gave him the bag of Vadapav kept in her bag. When Sundari reached the bank, she saw that the Vadapav bag she had given to the beggar had gold ornaments in it, so Sundari went back to the same place. Although no one was present there, Sundari informed the police about this.
After getting information about the matter, Suraj Raut, head of the Dindoshi police’s detection team, started investigation. When officer Suraj Raut checked the CCTV footage installed at the spot, the beggar woman was seen leaving. After this, when the police contacted the woman, she told that the Vadapav given by Sundari was dry, so they threw it along with the bag in the garbage heap.
After this the police started looking for the bag in the garbage heap but the bag was not found there in the search. Finally, when the police checked the CCTV footage installed near that garbage heap, it came to know that the garbage bag that the police is looking for is in the possession of a mouse. The rat entered the bag containing the jewelry and was eating the Vadapav kept in it and was roaming here and there. In such a situation, the police chased the mouse, but the rat entered the nearby drain with that bag. After this, the police took out the pouch by entering the drain, in which gold ornaments were recovered. The police later confiscated this gold jewelery bag and brought it to the police station and there it was later returned to Sundari (the owner of the jewellery).
