In the UP elections 2022, the Samajwadi Party alliance had to face defeat in front of the NDA, after which the knots of the SP alliance have started opening. After this defeat, Mahan Dal President Keshav Dev Maurya had targeted Swami Prasad Maurya, on which Swami Prasad Maurya, who left the BJP and joined the Samajwadi Party, quipped that the National President of the Mahan Dal and himself is also great. Maurya said that one who is great can say anything.
Swami Prasad Maurya, who lost the election from Fazilnagar, while talking to ‘UP Tak’ said, “There is defeat, there is defeat and there is victory, there is victory. Therefore it should be seen from this perspective. Every fault of the winner is forgiven and every goodness of the loser turns into a shortcoming. We have also seen such candidates winning who were not able to campaign properly in their constituency. People were driving them away, they had agreed that they would not win the elections but they too would win the elections by a huge margin.”
The SP leader said, “In ballot voting, the Samajwadi Party has won 304 seats and the BJP has won only 99 seats. But in the counting of EVM machines, the BJP formed the government and the SP, which won 304 seats, was reduced to 125. Somewhere a big game has happened. This is the reason why even those who win elections do not have a smile on their faces. Despite the victory, they are in mourning and despair. The people of SP are roaring like a lion even after losing today because they know that Janta ki Adalat has made us win.
In fact, Mahan Dal President Keshav Dev Maurya had blamed the defeat on the SP and other alliance partners. Keshav Dev Maurya had said that the Samajwadi Party did not use him properly. Keshav Dev Maurya had said, “He kept relying more on Swami Prasad Maurya, whom the BJP had sent to the SP as a strategy.”
