Meanwhile, in Kajraeli and Goradih areas of Bhagalpur, three people each have been reported to have died under suspicious circumstances. But the administration has kept silence in this regard. The names of the deceased are Chakradhar Prasad Singh, Arun Yadav of Kumrath village, Aditya Kumar alias Chunna of Vishanrampur. All three are residents of Kajreli police station area.
On the other hand, information has been received about the deaths of Rohit Yadav, son of Yadav of Punnak Mohanpur village, Gulshan Yadav, son of Vishnu Yadav and Santosh Kumar of Salpur village under Goradih police station. Bhagalpur SDO Dhananjay Kumar says that the cause of death is being ascertained. The exact cause of death will be known only after the post-mortem report comes. Poonam, the wife of the deceased Vinod Rai, told that while playing Holi on Saturday, her husband drank alcohol along with other people. Since then his health has deteriorated. He died after being admitted to the hospital.
In protest against the incident, people blocked the Champanagar and the university area by arson and demonstration. There too, the health of the people who returned home after playing Holi deteriorated on Saturday. All of them were admitted to Amarpur Hospital. Out of which eight died on Sunday.
Their names are Raghunandan Poddar (60), Raja Kumar Tiwari (50), Kamdevpur, Sanjay Kumar Sharma (60) Auraiya, Sumit Kumar (19) Dumrama, Ashish Kumar Singh (26) Dumaria, Vijay Shah resident of Vasantpur in Godda district. Vijay had come to celebrate Holi at his friend W. Sah’s house. There are two more people. Here in Narayanpur of Navagachia, four deaths have been reported in a similar accident. Apart from this, the condition of twelve people is critical. The names of the deceased are Rajendra Singh of UP, Govind Sah of Madhurapur, Manishdev Kumar, a teacher from Narayanpur and Sintu alias Aniket of Balaha.
