warora, Today, even for the fourth day, the affected farmers of Ekona’s projects stood firm on the movement and coal transport of Ekona mine is stalling. Shiv Sena district chief Mukesh Jeevtode has put the problem before the Chief Minister and his PA called the District Collector and ordered to solve the problem, said Jeevtode.
The project victims of Ekona mine are continuously agitating in two shifts during the day and night. Just as shift work is done in Wakoli’s mines, similarly the agitators are also standing. Day and night, 40 to 50 agitators have not allowed coal transportation to happen even on the fourth day. Efforts are being made by Wakoli to transport coal, but the agitators are continuously thwarting their efforts. It will be interesting to see what mode the movement takes in the times to come.
Today at 2.30 pm 4-5 empty trucks were going to the mine. But the agitators have not allowed their entry by blocking their way. Due to this, a situation of tension was created for some time. But the agitators have not allowed the truck to go inside the mine. Because the Shiv Sena had warned to intensify the agitation if the demand was not met.
