On Tuesday, Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala reached the farm of Hawa Singh, a farmer of Amarheri village, who grows 35 types of vegetables in half an acre of land. The Deputy Chief Minister interacted with the farmer and then ordered the officials to install poly houses and solar systems on subsidy in his field.
The Deputy CM appeared in a different style. He ate food with Hawa Singh while sitting in the field. During this, he kept on understanding the nuances of farming from the farmer. Hawa Singh told that he has been cultivating vegetables for 30 years. Earlier he used to do farming by taking land on contract. But then started growing vegetables on his half acre of land. Hawa Singh says that he could not feed his family by cultivating crops like wheat and paddy. But today he is taking good care of the family by cultivating vegetables.
When Dushyant ate food in the field with the farmer, someone on Facebook compared him with Tau Devi Lal, then someone asked why did the farmer take a plastic plate and you took a bronze plate? Sandeep wrote that it is a matter of shame in itself to eat with such a corrupt man. One wrote – This poor farmer is a vegetable seller and this Chautala is making numbers.
Vijay Pal Singh wrote that leave BJP and fight together with farmers. One said that on one hand he is eating cream with BJP and on the other hand he is going to farmers and showing that he is with them and like them.
Dushyant, the great-grandson of former Deputy Prime Minister Chaudhary Devi Lal and grandson of former CM Om Prakash Chautala, has made rapid strides in politics. In 2014, Dushyant Chautala became the youngest MP of the country at the age of 26. He came into the limelight by using MPLAD more than 100 percent in Hisar Lok Sabha constituency, but his personality was visible when he formed the Jannayak Janata Party after being expelled from the INLD. In the last elections of Haryana, his party performed well and won 10 MLAs. He is now the Deputy CM.
