On the evening of July 6, 2021, a double murder incident took place in Palam area of the country’s national capital Delhi at 7 pm. In this incident, the wife of an Air Force personnel and their son were brutally murdered. The shocking thing was that the murderer had also taken the DVR of the CCTV with him. But then due to a torn note of Rs 10, the police got the clue and when the murderer was caught, everyone’s senses were blown away.
A man named Krishna Swaroop lived with his wife and son in Palam area of Delhi. Krishna Swarup himself was an accountant in the Air Force. On 6th, when he reached home at 7 in the evening, he saw that the door of the house was already open. Then when he went inside, he found that the things were scattered and his wife Babita and son Gaurav were lying in a pool of blood. He immediately informed the local police.
The police took action on the information and started investigation. Prima facie case of robbery, but when CCTV DVR was found missing, then the suspicion went to some known person. When the police checked the CCTV footage around the house, a 4-second clip was found. In this, a man was being wrapped around his mouth and carrying something like a DVR in his hand. The police interrogated the neighbors but nothing came out.
In this footage, the person was seen on foot, then the police showed a picture captured on CCTV to the street vendors and rickshaw-auto people in the outskirts. Meanwhile, an e-rickshaw driver recognized him. When the police asked the reason, they told that when this person sat in his rickshaw, he had blood in his hands. However, when the rickshawman asked, he said leave the metro station. Then he told that there was a fight with this person over the rent.
When the police asked the reason, the rickshawman told that he was giving a torn note of 10 rupees for 30 rupees, which I refused to take. Then he had paid me 30 rupees Paytm, on hearing this, the eyes of the police shone. When the police searched the number, his senses were blown away. This number belonged to Abhishek, nephew of Babita, wife of Krishna Swaroop. It was the same Abhishek who stayed with Krishna Swaroop all the time after the incident and was also involved in the interrogation.
When the police interrogated Abhishek in custody, he confessed to the crime. Abhishek told that he was not able to return 50 thousand on loan, so both of them were killed by jumping with dumbbells. Abhishek said that his aunt Babita used to constantly taunt him for returning the loan. After that the police arrested him. Surprisingly, in the whole investigation, the murderer kept walking around the police but he was caught in the affair of torn Rs 10 note.
