Delhi Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Manish Sisodia presented the Economic Survey report in the budget session of the Legislative Assembly on Friday. According to the survey, the per capita income has increased in Delhi in the last one year despite Corona. The per capita income in Delhi was Rs 4,01,982 at prevailing prices during 2021-22, which stood at Rs 3,44,136 in the year 2020-21. Delhi ranks third in the country in terms of income of the people.
Sisodia said that in the Delhi Economic Survey 2021-22, it has been seen that the GSDP of Delhi at current prices during 2021-22 is estimated at Rs 9,23,967 crore, registering a growth of 17.65 percent over the previous year. Has been. The GSDP at current prices has increased by about 50 per cent in the last six years. The survey further states that Delhi has maintained its revenue surplus of Rs 1,450 crore during 2020-21.
Sisodia also presented the status report of Result Budget 2021-22 by 31st December last year. In his address, Sisodia said, through this status report, the government tells where it is after implementing its various policies and what it has achieved in the last one year.

There has been an increase in the number of students in Delhi’s government schools during the Corona period. The number of children studying in government schools has increased from 15 lakhs to 18 lakhs. This figure has come out in the Economic Survey report of the Delhi government. Preparations are being made by the government to start ‘Business Blaster’ program in private schools as well.
According to the information, under the ‘Business Blaster Project’, about three lakh students were provided ‘seed money’ of 2000 thousand rupees per student, so that they can come up with new business ideas and implement them. Delhi Board of Secondary Education (DBSE) has started functioning with 30 schools of Delhi Government. During the year 2021-22, under the School of Excellence Initiative (SOSE) in Specialization Areas, 20 schools with approximately 2,300 students started courses in areas such as STEM, humanities, acting and visual arts, and high-end 21st century skills.
