Salary as CM- Bhagwant Mann will get salary of Rs 2 lakh 30 thousand per month as Chief Minister. This includes his basic salary and other allowances as CM. After the completion of the tenure, they will get a fixed amount every month as pension.
What facilities will be available? As CM, Bhagwant Mann will get security, medical facilities, residential facilities and traveling allowance. Apart from this, they will also get the facility of electricity and phone.
First meeting as Chief Minister Addressing his first meeting on Thursday, a day after assuming the office of Chief Minister, Bhagwant Mann urged the top officials of the civil and police administration of the state to discharge their duties as public servants. Citing the example of the Indian cricket team, the newly elected Chief Minister said, “Win or lose a match, but team spirit matters a lot. Our main concern should be to make our state a real Punjab, not London, California or Paris.”
Will not be involved in political vendetta Mann said his government would not engage in political vendetta. He asked the entire state administration to discharge their duties fearlessly without any political pressure. Attacking the previous governments in the state, Mann said, “I don’t keep red diary like earlier political parties and only keep green diary. So you don’t need to worry about any retaliation.”
