After Kashi Corridor, now Yogi Sarkar’s eyes are on Vindhya Corridor. It is being said that most of the work of this corridor can be completed before the year 2024. At the same time, there is dissatisfaction among the local people regarding this. People say that the shop broke down, livelihood crisis has arisen.
The work of Yogi Adityanath’s dream project Vindhya Corridor has started but those who have given land for this corridor have a different say. Local people in Mirzapur say that the government is not disclosing about the corridor, so what to say next. Surya Prasad Mishra while talking to ‘UP Tak’ said, “Hum people’s house has gone, the shop has gone, the tenants have gone, how does the government want to settle those people, does it want to provide employment?”
They say that the government took the land but what would happen to those who had been settled for hundreds of years and were earning a living for their families. What will happen to their family, what will be the future of their children. Surya Prasad Mishra says that there are thousands of such families who will be affected. Similarly, Brahm Mani Mishra says that he does not see much benefit from the corridor.
He said, “Whatever the government is talking about compensation, they have not been given, only its name has happened. There is also dissatisfaction with the compensation and at the same time the landlord has become homeless, there is also dissatisfaction with all these things. The government is not telling anything about all these things.” Similarly, Sanjay says that four days are left in Navratri but people coming here are facing problems due to unfinished works.
It is being said about the Vindhya Corridor that the construction will pick up pace after Chaitra Navratri as the number of devotees visiting here during Navratri is in lakhs. Before this, the work of leveling the approach road from Ganga to the temple will be done.
