On Thursday, Kashmiri Pandit Rahul Bhatt was shot dead by terrorists in Budgam, Jammu and Kashmir. After this incident, Kashmiri Pandits are protesting in different parts of Jammu and Kashmir and are pleading for their safety. The protests of Kashmiri Pandits are continuing and they have also appealed to PM Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah for protection. At the same time, the wife of the deceased Rahul has said that she herself will take revenge on the killers of her husband.
Meenakshi Bhatt, wife of the deceased Rahul Bhatt, said during a conversation with the news channel News 24, “The government should do what the government has promised to give me a job and to bear the cost of my children’s education. Because my husband has died because of the government. When he requested that he be transferred somewhere else, it was not done. There was not a single security guard posted in his office.
Meenakshi Bhatt said, “There was a conspiracy to kill my husband. Sometimes he used to go to DC office, sometimes he lived somewhere else. No one knew where he was sitting. I think someone must have called and told that he is sitting here today. I myself went to his office once and did not know where Rahul Bhatt was sitting?”
Meenakshi Bhatt further said, “I will not sit still till the death penalty is given to the killers of my husband. If I have to take to the streets, I will take to the streets. Give me a shot, I myself will find the killers and kill them.”
On Thursday, terrorists barged into the Tehsildar’s office and shot and killed Rahul Bhatt. Rahul Bhatt was a Kashmiri Pandit and was posted in Chadoora, Budgam. However, it is being claimed that the security forces have killed the killers of Rahul Bhatt.
