With the onset of summer in Rajasthan, the mercury is touching the sky, with the temperature reaching 42-43 degree Celsius. Even in this scorching heat, a Congress MLA has been attending public programs without wearing shoes on his feet. CM Ashok Gehlot has asked his party MLA to wear shoes many times but Madan Prajapat is sticking to his vow. When the Congress MLA was asked, he told an incident related to how he had come back from CM Gehlot’s dinner party without eating food.
During a conversation with ‘Rajasthan Tak’, Madan Prajapat said, “Asked CM sahib to wear shoes 3-4 times, when the last time was dinner, many MLAs said that CM sahib is coming and you will be put on shoes, so I returned after saluting everyone without having eaten out of the fear that lest I should be left unfit to go before the people of Balotra. Behind Congress MLA Madan Prajapat doing this is a vow taken by him.
In fact, the Congress MLA has vowed not to wear shoes. The Congress MLA said that he has fulfilled the vow he had taken earlier also. Madan Prajapat said, “I stand by my vow, whether the temperature is 43 degrees or 44 degrees.. I will not wear shoes until Balotra is made a district.”
Madan Prajapat says that he is trying to fulfill the trust that the people of Balotra have. Talking about the reason behind Balotra not being declared a district, the MLA said, “Earlier also, the committee was formed twice, once under the rule of BJP and once under the rule of our party. But this committee has a different meaning in itself.
Congress MLA from Rajasthan said, “When CM Saheb was replying during the budget session, during that time he announced the committee and within three-four days also constituted the committee. So, people and I have got a lot of hope.”
