The main accused in the Lakhimpur Kheri violence case, Ashish Mishra, was granted bail by the Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad High Court, after which he was released from jail. In fact, on October 3 last year, four farmers were trampled by an SUV car in Tikunia of Lakhimpur Kheri. These farmers were returning after protesting against the agricultural laws. It is alleged that the SUV with which the farmers were crushed belonged to Union Minister Ajay Mishra Teni and Ashish Mishra was also present in it.
The politics of the state remained heated for months regarding this matter. The opposition continued to demand the resignation of Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra Teni. At the same time, on the issue of bail of Ashish Mishra, the opposition was continuously attacking the BJP.
